I think my husband and I passed this several times on our way to the park but never ventured in until two months ago. My little sister came to visit us and she was craving some Indian food. She looked up some places nearby and saw that Palace at the Ben had good reviews. We went for the Saturday buffet at 11:40 am (10 minutes past their open time) and we found the food to be really good. My favorite Indian buffet place in New York City is too far for us and I’m so glad we found one in Philly. The variety at the buffet was great with vegetarian, chicken, and lamb options which were all tasty, warm and fresh. The chicken tandoori can often times at buffets be really dry but this chicken was tender and flavorful. The rice was just right and those of you who’ve gone to many Indian buffets know that sometimes the rice can be quite dry. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean with nice decor.
